Alvaro Tapia is a chillean designer/artist living in Spain. Although he works in digital, there’s a craftiness to his work that I really find appealing. The colors, the red noses and the weird teeth, among other things, makes his art unique and wonderful to me! :)
Pian is an amazing artist from Venezuela, living in Brooklyn. I absolutely LOVE her contribution to the expo :) I want them all for my house, where can I buy????
The past weekend I was part of an Art Show / Block Party with some old and some new friends at Local Project Gallery, a DIY art space that holds a lot of new and upcoming talents creating a great atmosphere for us art lovers/makers.

I saw Beginners yesterday and I loved it! Ewan McGregor can’t get any better (but somehow he always does); Mélanie Laurent is incredibly charming and Christopher Plummer is just amazing! The music is great as is the story and the dog steals the show… go see it!

A spellbinding vessel for Lennon’s boundless wit and timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short and won the 2009 Emmy for ‘New Approaches’ (making it the first film to win an Emmy on behalf of the internet).”
